This free program allows beginning fundraisers and those interested in learning more about the field to learn from experienced professionals. Each session is taught by a development professional who has expertise in their subject area. At the end of the seven class sessions, those students who have attended at least five of the seven sessions will be matched with an experienced fundraiser who will serve as their mentor in subsequent months.
This program has introduced and mentored numerous local nonprofit professionals about this fun and rewarding work.
Classes meet in room 137 in Sorensen Hall on the Augustana Campus. Sorensen Hall is located on the northeast corner of 38th Street and 7th Avenue in Rock Island and the address is 639 38th Street. Parking is in the Centennial Hall parking lot (northwest corner of 38th Street and 7th Avenue)– with visitor parking located on the west side of the lot next to Centennial Hall.
Each class will meet from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
