We’re bringing back Kate Hightshoe-Lambert - CDP, Diversity Officer for QCBT and QCR Holdings, Inc. to AFP – QC for a 2nd time to do a deep dive into DEI with Cultural Conversations: Beneath the Surface. Kate was the keynote speaker for our Level Up Conference on National Philanthropy Day 2022. And if you attended last November, you know the conversations were just getting started.
Kate will be leading us through a meaningful workshop regarding the unique challenges that lie ahead in the world of philanthropy and charitable gift giving within the Quad Cities communities through a DEI lens. This workshop will be educational, thought-provoking, and interactive so please come with a big heart and open mind. We’ll discuss bias and the associated barriers to our current and future success as industry professionals. As we like to say in the DEI space, “the hard work is the heart work.”
