The purpose of National Philanthropy Day is to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy—and those active in the philanthropic community—to the enrichment of our world. On this special day in the Quad Cities, we reflect on the meaning of giving and all that it has made possible at a luncheon.

During the National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon, AFP-Quad Cities recognizes Quad Citians who give generously of their time or treasure to philanthropic efforts. Awardees will be recognized in the following categories: Outstanding Philanthropist or Charitable Family, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser, Outstanding Civic/Service Organization, Corporation, Corporate Foundation, or Foundation; Outstanding Youth/Youth Group.
