CONFERENCE SPEAKERS
“An Impact Uprising: How to create organizational growth without sacrificing meaningful connection” – Rachel Bearbower, Small Shop Strategies
Listening to the nudges of your community, bringing humanity into your organization and understanding that stories have the power to connect us, not just with donors, but with each other — it’s an impact uprising.
But how do you create genuine connection and lasting change when this work is time consuming and unpredictable?
In this opening session, Rachel Bearbower will reveal 4 simple steps to get clear on your impact and create a manageable system to allow for intentional growth while allowing for individual identities to shine bright. By being intentional about your process, you will see armor begin to shed when you become trusted stewards of each other's stories.
Through genuine connection and a shared mission, organizational growth becomes simple. The next believers of your mission are waiting to be inspired. Will you be ready for them?
“Inclusion Starts with I” – Kate Hightshoe, Vice President of Diversity, QCR Holdings
Learn why the path to inclusive culture and leadership starts with looking inward and the exploration and discovery of self. Kate will invite the audience to challenge paradigms, previously held beliefs, and bias. In a number of different ways, Kate will unveil and illuminate the diversity definition and the magic of inclusion in order to achieve greater equity for patients, employees, partners, vendors, and the communities where we all live, work and play. Focusing on DEI as a strategic business resource and an experiential and marketplace differentiator, attendees will hear about a number of different ways to move from DEI as a concept or idea, to visible, meaningful, and intentional action in order to drive results and achieve organizational goals.
