Studies consistently show that 85%-90% of giving in the United States each year comes from individuals. Yet, we too often get distracted from the most important giving segment available. This course will address the critical topic of personal solicitation, with an emphasis on major gifts. Participants will learn how to prepare and deliver solicitations to individuals and will develop a specific proposal for an individual whom they identify for their organizations. This course will end with a mock major gift ask with a local fundraising professional serving as your "donor."
